Our Philosophies

Pet Empawrium prides itself on customer service, knowledge and education. With over 150 purebred dogs recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC), over 40 purebred cats recognized by the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA), and the combinations in our good old American Mutts, we specialize in our canine and feline fur-children which we know and understand best.
There are two basic truths about food: 1. A good diet is fundamental. 2. It all starts with food. Each of our canine and feline fur-children is unique and exists on many levels of being. Their body is their terrain. Nourishing it properly with food, water, and exercise will provide them with an abundance of disease prevention.
Nutrition is the first step in preventative health care. "You are what you eat" is as true for our fur-children as it is for us. What we choose to feed our fur-children will be a major factor in their health, happiness & well-being. Nutritious diets provide our fur-children with the energy needed to run their bodies & the nutrients necessary to maintain their health, repair damaged cells, & help them fight disease & illness.
Animal protein is the most expensive ingredient in dog and cat food next to marketing. Grocery and mass-market pet food companies meet the minimum recommended protein requirements and add a little extra to be safe. Their big dollars are saved for advertising.
"Fresh Lamb." "Whole Chicken." "Deboned Whitefish." These "wet-state" protein sources sound great, but, may in fact be a marketing tactic.
